Compressor Cycles On then Back Off

Problem Description:  Compressor & Outdoor Fan Cycling

Observed Symptoms:  Compressor & outdoor fan come on for several seconds then go back off.

Solution:  

• Found unit kicking-off on High Pressure due to overcharge.
• Recovered excess charge.

Additional Information:  

• Check for 24V signal between "Y" and "C" at the outdoor unit to ensure thermostat is calling.
• Check system pressure when unit starts.
• Watch for excessively high or low pressure.
