Goodman Gas Furnace: GM9S96

Re: Fault Codes

This furnace uses a 3-segment display to show status and fault codes.

All equipment errors will show a fault display starting with "E".

 EE0  3 Failures to Establish Flame
  • No Gas
  • Bad Ignitor
  • Dirty Flame Sensor
  • Clogged Burners
 EE1  Pressure Switch Contacts Stuck Closed
  • Bad Pressure Switch
 EE2  Pressure Switch Contacts Filed to Close
  • Bad Pressure Switch
  • Bad Inducer Motor
  • Vent or Drain Issue
EE3 Primary Limit Circuit Open
  • Bad Limit
  • Restricted Airflow
  • Over-Fired
  • Bad Blower Motor
EE4 Flame Sensed with No Call for Heat
  • Sticking Gas Valve
  • Shorted Flame Sensor
EE5 Open Low Voltage Fuse
  • Low Voltage Short
EE6 Low Flame Signal
  • Dirty Flame Sensor
EEL Problem with Igniter Circuit
  • Shorted Igniter
  • Loose or Missing Ground
  • Bad Control Board
EEA Reversed Polarity
  • Reversed Line Voltage Polarity
  • Loose or Missing Ground
  • Bad Control Board
EEb Gas Valve Error
  • Bad Gas Valve
  • Disconnected Gas Valve Wiring
  • Bad Control Board 
EEC Gas Valve Energized when it Should Not Be
  • Bad Gas Valve Wiring

E10 Grounding Fault
