On the 4 & 5 Ton models of the YHE heat pump, York has issued a service letter regarding potential breakage of the refrigerant lines near the compressor. YS-001-2018

The factory implemented a design change to eliminate this potential failure.

Units already installed in the field prior to the design change that experience a suction line breakage issue will be allowed to be replaced with one of the new generation units. 4 hours labor plus a like-sized unit may be claimed.
