Nordyne - Code 2 or Code 3 - Caused by Gas Valve

Make:  Nordyne

Model or Series:  FG6RK

Type:  80% Gas Furnace

Problem Description:  Furnace locks out on either a Code 2 or 3.

Observed Symptoms:  Inducer motor shuts-off when gas valve energizes.

Solution:  Replaced Universal Electronic Ignition Gas Valve

Additional Information:  Removed wiring from the original gas valve and the inducer stayed running.
