LP Gas Pressure Low - Using Too Much Gas

Problem Description:  Using to too much gas.

Observed Symptoms:  

• Low discharge air temperature from furnace.
• Low manifold pressure with gas valve regulator bottomed-out.
• Inlet pressure drops drastically when the furnace comes on.

Solution: 

• LP gas line from the house regulator to the furnace is too small.
• Re-ran gas line in 5/8 and 1/2".

Additional Information: 

• Tried increasing pressure at house regulator.
• Checked gas line sizing chart and found that house line was too small.
• Purchased new tubing & flare fittings from United Refrigeration and Iron City Hardware.
