Re: OPERATING A HUMIDIFIER

Once a VisionPro thermostat has been configured for Humidification, you can control a humidifier directly from the thermostat interface.

To operate a humidifier from a VisionPro thermostat, you must set the Humidification Mode and the Humidity setting.

  • From the Home Screen press the MENU tab.
  • Highlight "Humidification" and press Select.
  • Use the Left and Right arrows to change the mode to either "Off" or "Auto".
    • In the "Off" mode, all Humidifier outputs will remain de-energized regardless of the humidity level.
    • In the "Auto" mode, the thermostat will energize the humidifier outputs when Heating is "On" and the sensed humidity level is lower than the desired humidity setting.
  • Use the Up and Down arrows to set the desired humidity level.
    • A normal Winter humidity level is typically between 25 to 40%.
  • Once settings have been made press "Done", and a screen will appear showing that the changes are being saved.
  • Press the HOME tab to return to the Home Screen.
