Re: OPERATING A DEHUMIDIFIER

Once a VisionPro or Prestige thermostat has been Configured for Dehumidification, you can control Summer humidity levels directly from the thermostat interface.

To dehumidify from a VisionPro thermostat, you must set the Dehumidification Mode and the Humidity level.

  • From the Home Screen press the MENU tab.
  • Highlight "Dehumidification" and press Select.
  • Use the Left and Right arrows to change the mode to either "Off" or "Auto".
    • In the "Off" mode, all dehumidifier outputs will remain de-energized regardless of the humidity level.
    • In the "Auto" mode, the thermostat will attempt to dehumidify based on the type of dehumidification and the Over Cool Limit set in the Installer Setup when the sensed humidity level is higher than the Dehumidify setting.
  • Use the Up and Down arrows to set the desired humidity level.
    • A normal Summer humidity level is typically between 55 to 65%.
  • Once settings have been made press "Done", and a screen will appear showing that the changes are being saved.
  • Press the HOME tab to return to the Home Screen.
