Configure the Thermostat to Control a Humidifier

Re: CONTROL A HUMIDIFIER

Both the TH8320R and TH8321R thermostat can be configured for direct-control of a Humidifier.

► The TH8320R does not have an internal humidity sensor or humidifier outputs so you will be required to add additional REDLink accessories.

CONFIGURE THERMOSTAT

  • Enter "Installers Setup" and modify the following settings:
Setup# Description Option
800 HUMIDIFIER TYPE bypass/fan pwrd
803 HUMIDIFIER WIRING t-stat terminal U1
805 WINDOW PROTECTION off
806 USE HUMIDIFIER IN HT MODE yes
806 (a) USE HUMIDIFIER IN OFF MODE no
807 HUMIDIFIER CONTROL hum when heat on
810 HUMIDIFIER PAD 12 months
  • Press "Done".
  • Answer "Yes" to exit Installer Setup.
  • Answer "Yes" to save changes.

Thermostat Furnace or A/H Humidifier

C C Wire 1
U1 (jumper from R or Rc)
U1 (wire nut) Wire 2
