Re: Replacing a Thermostat that is Connected to an Internet Gateway

When replacing a thermostat that is connected to an Internet Gateway, it is necessary to reset the Gateway and re-connect all RedLink thermostats.

  • It is not necessary to make any changes to the customer's Honeywell account.

RESET & RECONNECT

1. Reset the Internet Gateway

  • Press and hold the "Connect" button on the bottom of the gateway until the light turns orange.

2. Connect all RedLink thermostats to the Gateway

  • From the thermostat Home Screen press "MENU"
  • Scroll down to highlight and Select "Installer Options"
  • Enter the Factory Password (see Factory Password)
  • Scroll down to highlight and Select "Wireless Manager"
  • Select Add Device
  • Follow the instruction on the screen to connect to the Internet Gateway
