The customer-created password is automatically generated by the thermostat and there is no option to modify it. 

If the customer forgets the password or service access is required, perform the following:

• Find the FACTORY PASSWORD under the Equipment Status display.
• Add 1234 to the Factory Password to get the Customer-Created Password.
  • Example 1: Factory Password = 1337, add 1234, Customer-Created Password = 2571.
  • Example 2: Factory Password = 1541, add 1234, Customer-Created Password = 2775.
