CHECKOUT:
1. Check Refrigerant Pressures
- With the outdoor unit operating, hook refrigerant gauges to the system.
- Blue ⇒ Suction Line (not true suction)
- Red ⇒ Liquid Line
- Both Pressures High = Unit in Heat Mode → Step 2. Check Low Voltage
- Correct Pressures ⇒ Check thermostat setting and configuration.
2. Check Low Voltage
- Check for 24VAC between "O" and "C" on the defrost board thermostat connections.
3. Test Reversing Valve
- Check for 24VAC across the two RV outputs on the defrost board.
- Power on "O" + No Power on "RV" = Bad Defrost Board or No "Common" ⇒ Check for 24VAC between "R" and "C".
4. Test Reversing Valve
- Check for 24VAC across the two RV outputs on the defrost board.
- Power on "O" + No Power on "RV" = Bad Defrost Board or No "Common" ⇒ Check for 24VAC between "R" and "C".
