Re: Fault Code 10
The fault and status codes for the YHM heat pump are displayed on the small control board mounted beneath the large inverter board.
Fault Code 10 = Outdoor (Ambient) Sensor Failure (Open)

| 1. Loose plug on the control board. |
Check the plug where it connects to the control board. |

2. Faulty wiring |
Check the wiring between the control board and the outdoor sensor. |

3. Bad sensor |
Unplug the sensor from the control board and check resistance of the sensor. |
|
|
4. Bad Control Board |
Replace the control board. If the problem persists, proceed to last step. |

Last Step. If fault remains. |
