Re: Lockout Codes / Diagnostic Codes
Each of the following status codes is a Single or 2-digit number.
► The first digit is determined by the number of SHORT flashes and the second digit is determined by the number of LONG flashes.
► For Example: 1-Short Flash, 6-Long Flashes (- , — —) = Code 1+2.
| Code | Description | Information |
|---|---|---|
| 2 | PRESSURE SWITCH FAILED TO OPEN | Pressure switch stuck closed. |
| 3 | LPS FAILED TO CLOSE OR RE-OPENED | If LPS opens for more than 5 minutes, inducer will shut off for 15 minutes before retry. |
| 4 | LIMIT CIRCUIT FAULT | Indicates a limit or flame rollout is open. |
| 5 | FLAME SENSED WITH GAS VALVE OFF | Inducer will continue to run until fault condition is cleared. |
| 6 | IGNITION PROVING FAULT | Failure to sense flame. 4 consecutive faults will cause a 6 + 1. |
| 7 | LIMIT CIRCUIT LOCKOUT | Limit circuit open for more than 3 minutes. Auto-Reset after 3 hours. |
| 8 | GAS HEATING CIRCUIT LOCKOUT | Control must be manually reset. |
| 9 | HPS FAILED TO CLOSE OR RE-OPENED | 3 consecutive failures will cause a 3-hour lockout. |
| 10 | POLARITY ERROR | Line voltage (115VAC) reversed or Twinning Error. |
| 1+2 | BLOWER ON AFTER POWER-UP | Blower runs for 90 seconds if "W" is energized at power-up. |
| 6+1 | IGNITION LOCKOUT | 4 Ignition Faults (Code 6) - Auto-Reset after 3 hours. |
| ON | CONTROL CIRCUIT LOCKOUT | Auto-Reset after 1 Hour - Look for: Gas Valve Relay Stuck, Flame Sense Circuit Fail, or Software Check Erron |
