Honeywell Thermostat: TH5220 / TH6220

Re: Battery Replacement

BATTERY TYPE: The TH5220 & TH6220 FocusPro thermostats requires 2 AA batteries.

LOW BATTERIES: When the batteries get weak, the thermostat should flash "Replace Batteries".

BLANK SCREEN: A blank thermostat screen could be an indication of bad batteries.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

• Press down on the battery compartment tab at the top-right-hand corner of the thermostat.
• Fold the battery compartment out to the right.
• Lift the battery compartment slightly to release battery compartment from the thermostat.
• Remove the old batteries and discard.
• Install new batteries
  • Pay attention to the + and - orientation printed on the battery compartment.
• Re-install the battery compartment.
