CHECKOUT:
1. Check Unit Operation
- Reset the unit by turning off power to the outdoor unit for at least 2 minutes.
- Turn power back on.
- Put the unit in Cooling mode and turn the set point to its lowest setting.
- The unit only has one refrigerant port on the external suction line (which is high pressure in the heating mode).
- An adapter is required for standard refrigerant hoses.
2. Check Refrigerant Pressures
- Hook-up refrigerant gauges to the pressure port on the unit.
- Monitor pressures as the system operates.

3. Weigh-In the Charge
- Unfortunately, there is no accepted method of re-charging a mini-split other that to recover all of the refrigerant and weigh-in the correct amount.
